Employee Resource Groups
What is an ERG?
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employer-recognized groups of colleagues who share the concerns of a common race, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, or other statuses.
These internal organizations add value to the firm and its employees through the perspectives they offer in engagement and experience, learning, leadership development, marketplace eminence, and recruitment & retention.
EisnerAmper offers a wide range of ERGs for employees to participate in. Below is a list of the firm's groups, along with their mission and vision statements.
Mission: EisnerAmper Allies connects employees who are passionate in supporting one another and the firm in creating an educated, supportive and inclusive culture.
Vision: EisnerAmper Allies envisions a workplace in which colleagues support one another, and as Allies, we will help promote equitable practices within the firm.
“As part of the EisnerAmper Allies ERG, it’s our goal to offer information and learning opportunities that allow members of our firm to deepen their understanding of their own experiences and those of their colleagues. Regardless of their age, sex, race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression, we aim to better support underrepresented colleagues and create a firm of growth, equity, and inclusion for all.”
Mission: Develop a network within the EisnerAmper community to promote the cultural diversity and professional development of its members that focuses on creating a supportive environment for the Asian community and contributing to the success and growth of EisnerAmper’s mission.
Vision: To empower and support Asian talent as we strive to strengthen and maintain a culture of belonging at EisnerAmper.
“I’m proud to be able to lead the Asian Employee Network ERG because I believe mentoring and developing future leaders is one of the most important factors in career success. Our group provides a platform to support and acknowledge the diverse set of cultures and experiences within the Asian community. It’s our goal to create both a sense of inclusion and belonging within the firm, and our team is more than happy to provide support, share our experiences, and provide guidance to our members to reach their personal and professional goals. ”
Mission: To provide a forum and opportunities for Black employees and other colleagues who support BEAG's objectives, to meet with other EA professionals from regional offices, collaborate and share information that embraces and affirms the organization’s commitment to its people, clients, and a diverse and inclusive work environment.
Vision: To provide a new light into the public accounting profession by valuing our people, encouraging their development, and rewarding their performance.
“The Black Employee Network ERG provides a forum and opportunities for black employees and other colleagues to build relationships based on education, understanding, and inclusion. As a leader within the group, I’m honored to be able to further our mission of creating a more equitable workplace, which results in a more cohesive environment that benefits both the firm and our members’ careers in the long run. ”
Mission: The mission of Family Circle is to develop a network within EisnerAmper’s community that supports the integration of family and work.
Vision: To connect, educate and encourage EA's community as we progress through the different life cycles by providing a group that supports EA's commitment to employee wellness, while promoting networks and resources for those integrating family and work responsibilities.
“I’m grateful EisnerAmper offers an ERG like the Family Circle, and I’m even more grateful to have a hand in leading it. Our group brings members across all levels and locations together in a community where we can share who we are. Through programming, contests, and events, Family Circle members can show a larger part of their personalities and experiences outside of the office and advance their family, work, and individual well-being. ”
Mission: To provide a place to promote visibility and belonging that address the issues that impact our community today in work and in life. Support one another and as Allies, we will help promote equitable practices within the firm.
Vision: To connect, develop and build relationships across the Firm. We aim to create and promote cultural awareness, build personal and professional connections across all offices and showcase its members’ talent.
“I'm proud to lead India Connects because it is diversity, equity, and inclusion in the truest sense. Our program offers opportunities to colleagues in different countries and offices in the U.S., U.K. and Israel to connect, understand, and nurture working relationships with their counterparts in India. By highlighting the diverse nature of our profession and the communities in which we operate, our India-based colleagues can better address and share their concerns while working for a predominantly U.S. firm. ”
Mission: Develop a network within the EisnerAmper Latinx community to promote the cultural diversity and professional development of its members, thereby creating a supportive environment for the Latinx community and contributing to the success of the firm’s mission.
Vision: To empower and support Latinx talent as we strive to strengthen and maintain a culture of belonging at EisnerAmper by establishing and promoting an environment of inclusiveness for Latinx employees.
“As the leader of the Latinx ERG, I’m proud to have a hand in providing an environment to bring people together and share with each other the various aspects of our proud Latin culture and heritage. By offering programs based on both education and professional development, we’re furthering the firm’s mission of creating an inclusive work environment and enabling our members to succeed in their careers. ”
Mission: LGBTQIA+ is designed to create a vibrant and inclusive community for our members. We work collaboratively with other ERGs and the organization to ensure there is a brave space to come together, share our stories and celebrate our Pride. We will be a force for education, equity, mentorship, business development, and intersectionality. We are developing a network within EisnerAmper’s stakeholder community that is a supportive environment for the LGBTQIA+ community that contributes to the success of EisnerAmper’s mission.
Vision: To provide a place to promote visibility and belonging that address the issues that impact our community today in work and in life.
“The LGBTIA+ ERG, provides a safe space for members of our group to network, discuss issues that impact them, and create lasting connections. I’m proud to be a leader of the group and act as a mentor to our members. Whether or not members participate in monthly calls or group activities, our presence and commitment to inclusion and LGBTIA+ organizations gives them a sense of value and belonging to the firm as a whole. ”
Mission: To provide an environment for women working at EisnerAmper to fulfill their career objectives, create a sense of community belonging, and help achieve their professional and personal growth.
Vision: The Women of EA leverages the expertise of the firm’s leadership and resources in an effort to inspire our female staff to both broaden their professional goals and fulfill individual life aspirations.
