We’re looking for someone who has:
As an Audit intern, you will be working with the audit team in performing detailed verification procedures necessary to perform examinations of our clients' financial statements. This includes both public and private client engagements.
What you’ll be doing:

Follow instructions to prepare and complete basic engagement workpapers

Assist engagement team to plan and implement audits and reviews using our firm’s audit methodology (Knowledge Coach)

Preparation of financial statements, footnotes and applicable supporting documents
-
With engagement team’s guidance, establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients
-
Assist engagement team to assess risk of significant audit areas and assertions
-
Knowledge of relevant audit assertions
-
Identify potential or existing problems, conducting appropriate research, and working closely with engagement team on resolving the issue
-
Monitor project status as compared to the engagement timeline and communicate schedule adjustments to the engagement team in a timely manner

Apply data analytics to analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses

Basic knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field and industry or gain appropriate knowledge of that industry

Provide feedback (both formal and informal)

Prepare personal and business development plan aligned with the team’s balance scorecard
Basic Qualifications:
-
Current Junior or Senior (who is applying for a 5-year Master’s degree program), or on track to complete 150 credits for CPA-eligibility
-
0-2 years recent public accounting experience
-
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
-
150-Date/Final Graduation of December 2025 through September 2026

Strong academic track record (Minimum GPA: 3.0)

Strong MS Excel and MS Word
-
Strong time management and organizational skills
-
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team

Great communication, leadership, and analytical skills
