Position Overview : The Billing Assistant at EisnerAmper is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing client invoices and ensuring adherence to billing policies and procedures. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and invoices.
- Prepare and process invoices based on client contracts and agreements.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or issues.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely billing and resolution of queries.
- Maintain billing records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to billing (extended work hours needed including Sat working during Busy/heavy workload season)
- Conduct self QC’s for their own invoices generated.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, project execution/order management team, client/engagement partners) to resolve billing-related issues as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in billing or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and accounting software (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Netsuite knowledge preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
