What Work You Will be Responsible For: 

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating tax compliance and advisory work for clients

  • Review Federal, Multi-National, Multi-State Partnership tax returns

  • Lead client relationships on day to day tax matters supporting partners with service execution and development of extended services

  • Research and consult on technical matters and special projects

  • Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively with the client to provide superior client service

  • Actively participate in business development efforts to include working collaboratively with partners and marketing professionals to target and build relationships with client prospects

  • Manage, train and develop staff.  Participate in the performance review process

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field

  • 8+ years of progressive financial service tax experience

  • CPA

  • 1+ years of supervisory experience

  • Experience working with asset manager clients (private equity, hedge funds, fund of funds and/or venture capital) firms is required.

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or relevant field 

  • Experience using GoSystems or CCH Axcess tax software

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $120,000.00 and $200,000.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Our newly designed headquarters office is situated in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, offering convenient access to multiple train stations. Our location is conveniently situated in close proximity to the iconic Grand Central station, with easy access to some of the city’s most popular attractions just minutes away. The firm also has smaller offices in both Syosset and Melville, New York.
