EisnerAmper is seeking an Assistant Vice President with a combination of REIT and SEC experience to join the Real Estate Systems Implementation Group (RESIG) practice, able to sit in a number of our offices. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.
What you’ll be doing:

Responsible for supervising training and reviewing the work of 2-3 Portfolio Accountants

Build and maintain relationships with one or more clients, managing client expectations, and meeting all client deliverables

Manage and review the daily accounting and financial reporting for REIT
-
Prepare and review financial statements including but not limited to balance sheet, statement of investments, statement of operations, statement of cash flows

Prepare and review general ledger and work paper files including capital activity, investment activity, income, and expense accruals, etc.

Preparation and review of the day-to-day operations of the REIT

Preparation of required monthly share class pricing

Help manage year-end audit process and support external auditors and tax teams with requested financials
We’re looking for someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required

7+ year of REIT fund accounting experience

Experience using Yardi and/or MRI
Preferred candidates also have:

CPA or parts passed towards completion

Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,872.00 and $183,510.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
