EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager who can be dedicated to giving excellent support to one Financial Services Client! If you’re looking to get away from being pulled in multiple directions by too many clients/engagements and are hoping to get some balance back into your life by working 40-45 hours a week, then this role is for you! This team will be growing so we are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment, having autonomy and taking ownership of their work, and loves providing clients with dedicated, exceptional services.
What you’ll be doing:

Be part of a team dedicated to one financial services client

Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects on time, within budget, and up to management standards

Review tax returns completed by staff, making recommendations regarding accuracy and savings opportunities

Attention to detail and focus on quality work product

Strong communication skills with team and client

Team player

Ability to work against a hard deadline

Research and consult on various tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested

Brainstorm new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems

Mentor and coach junior team members
We’re looking for someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field is required
-
Ideally have their CPA, MST, or EA
-
Experience with financial services clients, including private equity funds
-
5+ years of tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,872.00 and $183,510.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
