EisnerAmper is seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Manager for the firm's New York City office. The Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Manager is responsible for executing and training Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Associates on turnaround, restructuring and bankruptcy related engagements, including bankruptcy litigation matters, and addressing complicated issues under the direction of a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Services Partner or Director.
What you’ll be doing:

Advising on various aspects of the restructuring process including development of strategy, liquidity management, running parallel processes, out-of-court negotiations preparation / bankruptcy preparation, and execution / implementation of strategy.

Developing and analyzing 13-week cash flow models.

Building customized integrated 3 statement financial models.

Managing BRS Associates in performing ad-hoc financial analyses and delegating work assignments.

Managing project execution and deadlines with a focus on details and accuracy.

Preparing high-quality written reports and delivering presentations to clients.

Evaluating business plans and providing insights and recommendations to leaders and clients.

Evaluating strategic alternatives to maximize value during the bankruptcy and/or restructuring process.

Preparing analyses and expert reports related to bankruptcy litigation issues such as preferences, fraudulent conveyances, plan feasibility, solvency.

Developing strong relationships with professionals at all levels, inside and outside of the firm, including attorneys, lenders, creditors, financial advisors, clients, and prospects.

Participating in practice development, marketing, and recruiting efforts.

Performing detailed research using Debtwire, PACER, S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, and other bankruptcy and restructuring related resources to target prospects and prepare proposal materials.
We’re looking for someone who has:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.

5-8 years of work experience with a large accounting firm or consulting firm specializing in restructuring and turnaround services, as well as bankruptcy consulting and litigation support services.

1-2 years of management experience.

Intermediate knowledge of the bankruptcy process.

Excellent analytical, research, and oral/written communication skills.

Proven ability to inspire a team approach on engagements and contribute to the professional development of assigned Associates.

Management presence and ability to act as the key contact on assigned engagements, while keeping leaders informed of progress real-time.
Preferred candidates also have:

CPA license or working toward a CPA.

Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, CTP, or CIRA.

Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel.

Preferred Location:

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,872.00 and $183,510.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
