EisnerAmper is seeking an experienced, team-oriented Senior Associate to join their Private Client Services (PCS) practice.  Our PCS practice specializes in providing exceptional client service to closely held and family-owned businesses.  We are seeking a Senior Associate that can provide both accounting and tax services to our PCS clients. 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparation and review of Tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1065)

  • Oversee financial statement reviews and compilations, as needed for clients

  • Experienced in U.S. GAAP for financial reporting and other comprehensive bases of accounting

  • Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationship with firm leadership

  • Develop a working knowledge of the client's business, take responsibility for completing assigned tasks, and meet client deadlines

  • Brainstorm new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems

  • Mentor and coach junior team members

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • CPA or exam(s) passed towards CPA

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 3+ years recent public accounting experience

  • Master’s degree in accounting

  • Knowledge of Xero

  • Strong MS Excel and MS Word experience

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Team player with strong communication and analytical skills 

  • CCH Engagement & Prosystems experience

  • BNA Tax Planning, Go Systems FX, XCM, QuickBooks and other accounting software experience.

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $67,840.00 and $126,800.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
