EisnerAmper is seeking an experienced, team-oriented manager to join their Private Client Services (PCS) practice. Our PCS practice specializes in providing exceptional client service to closely held and family-owned businesses. We are seeking a well-rounded manager that can provide both accounting and tax services to our PCS clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax returns (1040, 1120C, 1120S and 1065)
- Oversee financial statement reviews and compilations, as needed for clients
- Experienced in U.S. GAAP for financial reporting and other comprehensive bases of accounting
- Manage projects to ensure quality and timeliness
- Effectively manage multiple engagements in a team environment, and also work independently. Identify potential opportunities for new and/or expanded client services.
- Build impactful relationships with new and existing clients and maintain relationship with firm leadership.
- Research and consult on various tax and/or accounting matters; ability to prepare technical memos or respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries when requested.
- Responsible for training, supervising and ongoing development of associates and seniors
- Ability to lead and manage engagements, including budgeting, billing and engagement economics
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- At least 6+ years of recent public accounting experience
- Ability to lead and develop staff
- Strong MS Excel and MS Word are required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Team player with strong communication and analytical skills
- Strong business management skills to assist in operations of family owned business
- Experience with CCH Engagement, CCH Axcess, BNA Tax Planning, XCM

For NYC and California, the expected salary range for this position is between $97,872.00 and $183,510.00. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
